Shinesoft Video to Audio Converter is an audio ripping tool. It allows you to extract the audio track from video files and convert it to a variety of audio formats. The application can open a variety of audio formats, and you can use DVD movies as input. When you use a DVD movie, you can choose what audio track you want to use, if the movie has several different tracks.
The supported audio formats are AAC, AC3, AIFF, M4A, MP2, MP3, OGG, RA, AU, WAV, and WMA. You can select them from a drop-down menu at the bottom of the window.
Graphically, the application has a standard-looking user interface, with a color scheme that isn't so hard on the eye. The only problem I noticed was a very annoying error that would pop-up whenever I clicked somewhere on the interface. Though annoying, it didn't stop the application from converting files quite well.
As I said, the application works well. I tested it with an FLV file, which I converted to MP3. The audio was of equal quality to that of the FLV file.
There is a 3-minute limit on the trial version of this converter.
